Time

Parenting can be a live comedy!  Daily I find humor in the little things that arise during our day!  Kids have a way about bringing laughter and joy when everything else seems complicated and overwhelming.  It is true, when you become a parent you really don’t have a dull moment in your life no more. Always expect the unexpected, especially if you have a toddler at home.  They will definitely bring the best out of us parents when they decide to get into mischief.   It is a priveledge and joy to watch my kids grow, try things, experience life, and embrace the difficult trials because memories are being made.  Enjoy your little ones, take time to notice and compliment the good.  Time is not a luxury it is a gift that should be taken with care!

101 Parenting

Ha…Parenting!  Definitely full of lovely surprises!  Always keeping me on my toes that is for sure.  It seems like time is just flying as every day passes by.  When you are a child time just seems to drag but as an adult time flies faster than a speeding bullet.

Sometimes I catch myself missing out on all the beautiful little things because I let myself get to distracted by everything else.  It is so important to take the time to spend with you little ones even if it seems like there is so much on your plate.  MAKE THE TIME.  IT CAN’T BE REPLACED!

Always remember no matter how stressed out you get with all the crazy unexpected moments that one day you will laugh and enjoy those moments just like the rest.  Enjoy parenting, own it, and take it day by day…. or minute by minute!

Time Flies

It seems like it was only but yesterday when we were expecting our first baby, Timothy!  Now I have four amazing kids, three of which will be attending school…yikes.  Where does the time go?? Timothy will be in Second, Shirley in First, and my little Joseph aka Joe Joe 😜 will be in preschool!!!! Enjoy every moment you have with your sweet little ones, this is advice to one parent to another.  Time goes quicker than we think!!! Don’t underestimate it.

Productivity at It’s Finest

This week has been a very productive one, the only thing I found unproductive was the doctor’s visit yesterday.  They didn’t seem to be as helpful and only left me with more problems to worry about.  I will say Vacation Bible School was a success though.

Today I have been kind of going with the flow and you know it really is funny how much more relaxed I am than when I am worrying about every little detail of my typical day.  I guess the lesson I learned from this is don’t sweat the stuff you can’t control just go at your own pace.  🙂  Can’t believe it is already July 1st!!! Yikes, time is just a flying this year!  Soon school will be starting and then Christmas!

I am brainstorming as well on another book I am wanting to write.  I really enjoy dystopian fiction novels and science fiction.  🙂  Well I hope you all have had a great day and enjoy your family during this wonderful Holiday weekend! shutter3

CrAzY Weeks!

I know I have been out of touch and haven’t been blogging recently.  My schedule has been extremely crazy recently due to Church Camp (which was AMAZING!),  selling and throwing Jamberry and Avon parties, planning for VBS (vacation Bible school), three birthdays this week, and the list goes on.  Yes, as a parent we tend to forget that time is not a luxury *SIGH* but I am here to say no matter how busy you stay always try to stay focused on the positive.  It is an uphill battle sometimes but always remember it may be a challenge to climb to the top of that hill but once at the top its an easy slide down.

No matter how crazy your days and weeks are you are AMAZING.  If you haven’t heard that by anyone else then I will say it.  As a parent you work hard to provide the best possible care for your child.  You stride to make sure they have the best no matter what the cost is.  Remember you are their hero even if everyone else views you differently.  YOU. ARE. GREAT. 🙂
