What’s Your Name?

I am reminded everyday how special it was when my little ones first started to say and I quote ‘Ma Ma’ or ‘Da Da’! Yep such adorable times, a milestone every mom and dad want their sweet bundle of joy to reach! It melts our hearts when we hear them babble our names at such young ages.

Fast forward just a bit, maybe just a few years on it seems like my name has become legendary lol! The constant ‘Mom, Mommy, Mother’ or ‘Dad, Daddy, and even Father’ from your child can be one a little too bearing at times. But even through the nagging, tattling, whiny muttering, yelling, and screaming there is a purpose behind your name. As a parent the title Mother and Father should be sacred. It is one that should give you a sense of satisfaction. Those sweet children also say your name because they love you, trust you, and look up to you. You are their beacon that will guide and lead them to the person they will grow up to be.

Enjoy the crazy moments, the embarrassing ones, and the silly moments because you only get one shot to be the person they call Mom and Dad! Be joyous and enjoy h memories you make with you little ones because as I noted in my previous post ‘Time Flies’, it really does.

Time

Parenting can be a live comedy!  Daily I find humor in the little things that arise during our day!  Kids have a way about bringing laughter and joy when everything else seems complicated and overwhelming.  It is true, when you become a parent you really don’t have a dull moment in your life no more. Always expect the unexpected, especially if you have a toddler at home.  They will definitely bring the best out of us parents when they decide to get into mischief.   It is a priveledge and joy to watch my kids grow, try things, experience life, and embrace the difficult trials because memories are being made.  Enjoy your little ones, take time to notice and compliment the good.  Time is not a luxury it is a gift that should be taken with care!

101 Parenting

Ha…Parenting!  Definitely full of lovely surprises!  Always keeping me on my toes that is for sure.  It seems like time is just flying as every day passes by.  When you are a child time just seems to drag but as an adult time flies faster than a speeding bullet.

Sometimes I catch myself missing out on all the beautiful little things because I let myself get to distracted by everything else.  It is so important to take the time to spend with you little ones even if it seems like there is so much on your plate.  MAKE THE TIME.  IT CAN’T BE REPLACED!

Always remember no matter how stressed out you get with all the crazy unexpected moments that one day you will laugh and enjoy those moments just like the rest.  Enjoy parenting, own it, and take it day by day…. or minute by minute!

My World! ❤️

Parenting…there is nothing like it!  You will have your fun, crazy, terrible, amazing, and nothing can describe days!  I am sure many know exactly what I am talking about to lol.  Especially having three boys and one girl I have learned that chaos definitly comes with the territory.

Here are some pictures of my sweet amazing mini me’s!!!!!! Enjoy!

Unheard Voices

Where do I begin…society seems to be in divided tyranny.  There is one major stance I take very seriously, one that many take offense to or shun because in some eyes it is not a politically correct view to take a stand for.

Recently I have seen a lot of terrible posts regarding abortion also known as Murder.  Yes, I know I said the “M” word and Yes I meant it.  I am saddened by the unborn babies that lose their lives daily due to the lack of responsibility and compassion for life.

Somebody has to raise a voice for those that can’t speak or stand up for themselves! We do that for our own children every single day.  When you conceive a child your title as a mother and father is automatic no exceptions.  Unborn babies feel, hear, and are intelligent.  They are gifts from the Lord and so many take them for granted.

It is just breaking my heart….Take a Stand!  Fight for the Unborn!!!

Cherishing the Moment

The last few days have been super busy and slightly unproductive but I have made lots of great memories that I will always cherish.  This past week has been full of the ups and downs and we are in the middle of trying to buy a house so that doesn’t help with the crazy but making memories with my little ones have been so rewarding over the last week.  Like the other day, as crazy as it got there were some hilarious moments that had me rolling on the floor.  For instance when I knocked over the corn mill on one of my cats in the kitchen while trying to make snacks for the kids and put up groceries, along while the kids are running throughout the house with the video game blaring in the background.  Yes those are the funny yet crazy moments that I love.  No matter how crazy your day can get there is always a way to turn around that moment into a cherished one.  Cherish the moment, scrap book it, take pictures, embrace it and enjoy it!  I don’t want to regret I want to remember all the fun, the good, the excitement I have and will have with my kids.  🙂

Today has been an interesting day considering that my older kids are hanging out with daddy today!  He thought it would be a great day to spend quality time with the older two.  I have managed to get the house in somewhat decent shape and have had a lot of downtime today which has been a nice change to my speedy Gonzales pace.

I decided today to give myself a Jamicure, watch the movie HOME for the hundredth time :), and spend one on one quality time with the little ones.  It has been such an amazing day so far and a very memorable one at that.  I hope all of you are having a wonderful Holiday Weekend as well.

My StoryBook

Sometimes I wonder if I am literally in the twilight zone :).  Laundry everywhere, toys scattered like death traps…Yikes! and  video games a blaring  while the cats are chasing each other from one end to the house to the other.  Yep, that is a typical day for me and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  Being a mom is so enjoyable and has so much meaning.  Through the crazy and dramatic moments there are always unforgettable memories being created.  Life is like a story book with lots of amazing pictures.  The memories are the pictures and as you gain them you are building on your story.  So what is your story… What is your adventure?

We all have a story to tell no matter how interesting, strange, out of this world it may sound.  Everyone is different and has a purpose to fulfill.  No one can write your story except yourself.  Mine is to serve the Lord ALL the days of my life, standing by my beloved husband through it all, to be the best Mom I can possibly be to my Children, and live my life to the fullest!  🙂
