Today I have achieved so much! It makes me so happy that I was able to be more productive. Due to all the stress my motivation has been terrible but now that it has been lifted off my shoulders I feel so much more alive. Stress is aterrible villain that sneaks up on you and consumes you till you have nothing left. Managing stress has never been my strong suite to say the least but I feel like I am growing. Through many prayers and patience God got me through the tough patches and in result made me stronger in my faith. If we don’t go through the tough stuff we will never grow and learn. Today I am spending some much time with my kiddos and enjoying the little moments. That’s what life is all about.

Time Flies
It seems like it was only but yesterday when we were expecting our first baby, Timothy! Now I have four amazing kids, three of which will be attending school…yikes. Where does the time go?? Timothy will be in Second, Shirley in First, and my little Joseph aka Joe Joe 😜 will be in preschool!!!! Enjoy every moment you have with your sweet little ones, this is advice to one parent to another. Time goes quicker than we think!!! Don’t underestimate it.
God You are My Rock
This year has been a challenging one, almost too complicated to understand. To be honest as I have faced the trials that this year has brought me I have learned that without God there is no foundation. God has been my rock and has kept me a float as I was going through all the crazy chaos. Now that I look upon the events that have gone on I now have peace of the end result. No matter what you are facing always remember God is there to guide and encourage you along the way.
Walking by Faith
Walking by faith has been super hard for me lately. I want to fix the problems my self, I think with most that holds true for most. As silly as it sounds I feel like the bumps and trials I have face this Summer and year have made me stronger. I now understand the reasoning of walking by Faith.
There is beauty behind it, just as children depend on their parents and put their full trust in them we should do the same with God. He is always there and has a plan for each and every person. Waiting for the Lord can be a very difficult task for the simplistic mind of people. We tend to jump the gun and try to manage everything ourselves.
I stressed over things I had no control over this summer which made me partially miserable. The stress could have easily been avoided if I would have trusted the Lord instead of trying to take matters in my own hands. Trust the Lord, He knows what He is doing! 😊
August 8th 2016

Yep…been a while since I truly gave an update of what has been going on. Well it seems like a lot lol! Summer has been truly keeping me on my toes and is going full fledged out crazy. Hopefully when school starts the chaos will die down a bit, at least from the unplanned crazy standpoint that is. We are currently in the middle of buying a house which I have to say definitely is exciting but SUPER stressful!
I am hoping in about a day or two we will be able to finish everything up and finally move forward with the house :). That is the goal though, depends on the underwriter and their mood. Starting this new chapter is definitely exciting and welcome due to all the rough patches this year has brought me.
This year has really brought a lot of pain, but through it all I have grown stronger. Through everything I have faced this year I have learned that nothing is Greater than God. No problem I have faced, dealt with, or will deal with is bigger than God. That is what has kept me pushing through the pain and the rough patches. 🙂
Always remember that no matter what you are going through God is always there. He is always there to pick you up when you fall, wipe away the tears when you cry, and lift you up when you are down. For so long I pushed God away because I got lost in everything around me that I forgot how dependent I truly was in need of HIM. We forget as humans that we are so small and that GOD is so BIG. Always remember no matter what you are facing God is always there waiting for you!
I just thought I should share this because in a way I feel like many can relate even if they don’t admit to it.
OverdueÂ
These last few weeks have been a challenge for me and as a result my blogging got put on the back burner for a bit. Life surely has its twists and turns, most you don’t even expect or see until you are faced with the dilemma.
I have learned though with all the stress, pain, and endurance we feel there will always beat sense of self worth and achievement that follows. I recently had to learn the hard way that stressing is not the answer to any problem, all it did was make me very sick.
As change enters my family again I try to remind myself that no matter how difficult or stressful a situation may seem there is always a way to make the transition more enjoyable.
Ways to Cope with Stress…
- Take a Break: walk away from the problem or project. Give yourself a break to re-evaluate your game plan.
- Eat and Drink lots of Water! Make sure you are taking care of YOU! That always helps when faced with a stressful dilemma.
- Take a Warm Bath or Shower 😌
- Take notes or jot down what your goals are! This is a great way to see where your head is at.
- Prayer is a top priority when stress is involved, there is Ning too great for God!
I hope these coping mechanisms help you all that do deal with stress on a day to day basis.
PokemonGo The New Way To Connect

The last two days have been extremely amusing due to the new app out there also known as #PokemonGo which has become the latest fad. People walking aimlessly around the neighborhood, grocery stores, and even gas stations. Sadly others are using it for mischievous purposes but on a funny note it has definitely gotten people to move more.
If you think you are lazy then you should definitely give this hot new app a try. Pokemon is a great old fashion trend that the generation that grew up in the 90’s can truly appreciate! The only concern about the app that has been brought up is the lack of safety. People are a little careless and unaware of their surroundings while searching for Pokemon on their phones. A good friend of mine did make a good point that it is bringing people together. I think the app is fun and creative but people do need to take precautions of safety especially young children playing the game. So go catch em all and have a blast one Pokemon at time! 😉
Cleaning is no joke…lol!
Cleaning is no joke when you have little ones… Right!? Well as I see it, cleaning is hilarious when you have little ones running around. You pick one item up and another pops up on the floor. It is literally my never ending story along with the laundry duty that goes on in this house. Yeah got to say laundry isn’t my favorite chore either. The joys of parenthood, I will say this though cleaning with the kids is awesome. Watching them put away the toys and bicker where the right place to put the them away is hilarious. Some of the craziest conversations come along during clean-up time. Then there are the days when clean up is not an option, yep…those days occur too. To be fair I think adults have a similar mindset, we tend to have those days that we won’t nothing to do with adulting. Cleaning up can be a pain…along with laundry :). I just find it so funny that as adults we still have that child-like attitude towards cleaning and grown-up responsibilities. Our kids are literally our little mini mes…mine sure are. I just love connecting with them and spending quality time with them even in the most serious moments of our busy lives.
Productivity at It’s Finest
This week has been a very productive one, the only thing I found unproductive was the doctor’s visit yesterday. They didn’t seem to be as helpful and only left me with more problems to worry about. I will say Vacation Bible School was a success though.
Today I have been kind of going with the flow and you know it really is funny how much more relaxed I am than when I am worrying about every little detail of my typical day. I guess the lesson I learned from this is don’t sweat the stuff you can’t control just go at your own pace. 🙂 Can’t believe it is already July 1st!!! Yikes, time is just a flying this year! Soon school will be starting and then Christmas!
I am brainstorming as well on another book I am wanting to write. I really enjoy dystopian fiction novels and science fiction. 🙂 Well I hope you all have had a great day and enjoy your family during this wonderful Holiday weekend!
My StoryBook

Sometimes I wonder if I am literally in the twilight zone :). Laundry everywhere, toys scattered like death traps…Yikes! and video games a blaring while the cats are chasing each other from one end to the house to the other. Yep, that is a typical day for me and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Being a mom is so enjoyable and has so much meaning. Through the crazy and dramatic moments there are always unforgettable memories being created. Life is like a story book with lots of amazing pictures. The memories are the pictures and as you gain them you are building on your story. So what is your story… What is your adventure?
We all have a story to tell no matter how interesting, strange, out of this world it may sound. Everyone is different and has a purpose to fulfill. No one can write your story except yourself. Mine is to serve the Lord ALL the days of my life, standing by my beloved husband through it all, to be the best Mom I can possibly be to my Children, and live my life to the fullest! 🙂
